“Though Amy Schneider finished short of breaking the consecutive games won record, oddsmakers don’t think we’ve seen the last of her on Jeopardy!,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “After her 40-win streak made her the first woman to surpass $1 million in winnings, Schneider now has the third-best odds to take over as the show’s next permanent host.”
Mike Richards and David Faber follow Schneider, both tied with 5/1 odds to be the next permanent host (16.7%). They’re followed by Aaron Rodgers at 7/1 (12.5%).
“The Jeopardy! host odds are the same as they were this summer, with Schneider’s appearance being the only change since August,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “The rest of the field, including current co-hosts Ken Jennings and Mayim Bialik, haven’t changed, suggesting that bookies aren’t counting out a change in the current hosting plan.”
