When casino gambling came to the Keystone State close to 20 years ago, Parx Casino and Racing opened in Bensalem. Working with Playtech, the evolution into online sports betting and iGaming is now complete.
The company chose these three states to add the iGaming component to the mobile sportsbook app. Playtech’s primary role in this partnership is to use its IMS platform to power the backend of the betPARX app.
This IMS platform is new to both the New Jersey and Pennsylvania online gaming industry. Playtech was working with betPARX and the Gun Lake Casino in Michigan. This partnership launched the Play Gun Lake online casino app.
The stated goal of this partnership is to offer a “simpler, faster and easier casino and sportsbook right in your pocket.”
The online casino offers everything from slots to digital table games and live-dealer gaming options. The online sportsbook has pre-game betting along with an extensive assortment of live in-game betting options.

Expanding Parx Casino’s Corporate Reach

The initial partnership between Playtech and Parx was formed in February of 2021. The primary goal was to develop and launch the betPARX betting app.
The PGA and betPARX
As part of the marketing plans for the anticipated launch in Ohio, betPARX is now the official mobile sports betting partner of the Memorial Tournament. This annual event is held in the spring at Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio.
As part of the deal, betPARX is now an official sports betting operator of the PGA Tour.
