Odds Say Twitter Edit Button More Likely Than Trump’s Return to Platform

–Oddsmakers Also Suggest Jack Dorsey Returning as CEO is More Likely Than Trump Tweeting in 2022–

The odds that Twitter users will be able to edit published tweets in 2022 are stronger than Donald Trump’s odds of tweeting this year, according to betting aggregators US-Bookies.com (See Disclaimer Below). Trump has 8/1 odds to publish new content on Twitter in 2022 (11.1% implied probability), while the odds of Twitter getting an edit button for all users this year are 3/1 (25%).

“Following Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter, many were quick to suggest this could lead to Donald Trump’s return to the platform, but bookies aren’t sold on that just yet,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “Along with an edit button seeming more likely, the odds of Jack Dorsey returning as CEO are stronger than Donald Trump’s odds to go back to tweeting.”

Jack Dorsey currently has 4/1 odds to reclaim his position as Twitter CEO before January 1, 2023 (20% implied probability). However, this is still less likely than Elon Musk reaching 100 million followers on the platform by year’s end, as the odds he does eclipse that mark before 2023 are 1/1 (50%).

Twitter Odds:
Donald Trump to post new content on Twitter in 2022: 8/1
Twitter to include an edit button for all users in 2022: 3/1
Elon Musk to have 100m followers before 2023: 1/1
Jack Dorsey to be Twitter CEO before 2023: 4/1
