Illinois Fighting Illini ML at Indiana Hoosiers

The Big Ten Conference wastes no time in getting the conference action going, and there was actually a game in Week 0. On Friday night, the Indiana Hoosiers host the Illinois Fighting Illini, and this game will have big implications on the Big Ten standings.

Illinois already picked up a win in Week 0, and they were able to get it done by running the football successfully. The Fighting Illini will have to throw the ball deep at some point, but maybe not in this game.

Indiana has some questions to answer heading into the 2022 season, and this won’t be an easy matchup in Week 1. The Hoosiers ended the 2022 season by getting blown out in several games but are hoping to turn things around at home.

Take Illinois moneyline as they head into Indiana and pick up another win.

Oregon Ducks +17.0 at Georgia Bulldogs

The Oregon Ducks and Georgia Bulldogs will meet up in Atlanta on Saturday afternoon for a huge matchup of powerhouse programs. Both teams are good enough to play in the CFP this season, but this game will have a big impact on that.

Georgia won the CFP a season ago by being one of the best defensive teams in the history of college football. That defense lost a ton of talent to the NFL, and Oregon is a team that has a ton of talent on offense.

It would be a pretty big shock to see Oregon win this game outright, but they have enough talent to keep it close. You simply can’t pass up on the 17 points that Oregon is getting in this matchup.

LSU Tigers -3.0 vs. Florida State Seminoles

The Florida State Seminoles and LSU Tigers meet up on Sunday in one of the better matchups of Week 1. Florida State already has a win this season while LSU is playing in its season opener.

The Seminoles were terrific on the ground in Week 1, but they were also playing a Duquesne team that didn’t provide much resistance. The Florida State defense will be tested in this game, and that unit has struggled in previous seasons.

LSU is trying to get back on track after bringing in Brian Kelly from Notre Dame. This Tigers team has a roster that is much different from a season ago, and they should have enough talent to score some points.

This game is going to be tight, but taking LSU -3.0 is the way to go.
