As the US market for legal sports betting continues to expand at a rapid pace, more and more sports media properties want in on all the action. It has been estimated that more than half the states in the US will offer some form of legal sports betting within their boarders in the coming year.

The latest deal on the board brings together NBCUniversal, as one of the biggest media properties in the world with PointsBet Sportsbook. This company has been referred to as America’s fastest growing sportsbook and it also offers the PointsBet promo code. This is a multi-year partnership making PointsBet the official sports betting partner of NBC Sports.

As the official partner, PointsBet will have access to this year-round multi-media platform. It will also have marketing opportunities across an impressive range of sporting events. Sports programming features include the NBC Olympics, the Golf Channel, NBC Sports Regional Networks and the Olympic Channel.

This new partnership follows in the footsteps of previous deals between sports media and sports betting entities. ESPN just signed a deal with Caesars Entertainment. This includes the broadcast of The Daily Wager sports betting show from a Las Vegas casino. FOX has an ownership interest in FoxBet, with the popular FoxBet promo code, as part of a deal with The Stars Group.

The NBC Sports Group has quite a bit to offer. Detailed in a recent Deadline.com post, NBC is heavily involved in stand-alone sports properties such as the Golf Channel and Olympic Channel. It also operates the NBC Sports Talk franchise, NBC Sports Digital and NBC Sports Audio Network properties.

NBC Sports also offers broadcast rights for the NFL, NHL, NASCAR, IndyCar, including Indy 500, and PGA Tour as major sports entities. There are also ongoing relationships with Churchill Downs, the English Premier League, Tour de France and the French Open to broaden the scale of sporting events.

PointsBet will be able to benefit from multi-platform gameday integrations across eight NBC Sports Regional Networks and it also already offers the PointsBet app. This includes regional MLB, NBA and NHL games. This regional aspect covers more than 2,200 live sporting events annually.

Tying into PointBet’s core strength, it will become the official partner of the NBC Sports Predictor app. This has more than 1.1 million downloads in place. It also offers play-for-free games and options to bet on football, golf, Premier League soccer and NASCAR. Plans are in place to expand the scope and range of games offered on this app.

PointsBet will receive exclusive multi-platform integrations incorporated into Rotoworld and NBC Sports’ Fantasy along with a number of digital betting properties. Rotoworld provides betting and fantasy tools as well as daily insights for the NFL, NHL, NBA and MLB, if you are interested in betting on baseball. Also on that list is college football.

There will be a full Spanish-language functionality via Telemundo Deportes and Telemundo broadcast stations. PointsBet will also benefit from exposure through the consumer golf brand Golfnow.

Finally, PointsBet will be the exclusive provider of odds, props and trends for NBC Sports Network and the Golf Channel. This includes any digital properties as well as NBCUniversal’s new streaming service known as Peacock. Also part of the deal is NBC Sports Podcasts.
