Magic latest news & tweets

Point Spread Bet: Sportsbooks predict how much they think the Magic will win or loss. You make your predictions against either.

You win when your pick outperforms the lines by the sportsbook.

Betting against the Spread: Placing such Orlando Magic betting means they will have to win by more than a specific number of points.

Prop Bets: You can bet Orlando Magic will win the NBA Championship. Currently, this may seem out of place but no one can determine the outcome of a season. We all only predict the point spread.

Money Lines: Place your bet on whether the Magic will win or lose a game.

The odds given to winning when they are the underdog is usually more than when they are the favorite.

Overunder: Sportsbooks usually have a line for each of their picks.

To win the over/under Magic betting, you need, your predictions have to be either over or under the odds given by the sportsbook.

History of Orlando Magic

The Orlando Magic is an expansion franchise based in Orlando, Florida and established in 1989.

The number of times it has competed in the NBA playoff is half of its age in 2019.

Their 2015-2016 was one of their best seasons (if not the best).

The Magic roster features notable players like Ersan Ilyasova, Brandon Jennings, Victor Oladipo, and Tobias Harris. They won 35 games that season only to have them all leave before the next season.

They consecutively won the draft in 1992 and 1993. You can predict the Magic winning their division title (Eastern Conference Southeast Division).

They have won the East Conference finals six times. The last one was won in the 2018-2019 season.

The team owner Richard DeVos passed away on September 6, 2018. The cause of death was reported to be an infection.

The head coach Van Vogel was fired at the end of the 2017-2018 season and replaced with Steve Clifford who led the club to defeat the Boston Celtics (116-108).

This win is their first playoff victory in seven years. The last time they won it was under Stan Van Gundy in the 2011-2012 season.

Gundy won the playoff throughout his five seasons along with the first Division Championship since the 1995-1996 season.

He also set the third-best record in the Eastern Conference.

In his first season, he won 52 games and in the 2008-2009 season, the team won 59 games.
