The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board (PGCB) recently stated that the Partypoker Network could launch in the state by the end of summer or early fall. This news came at the monthly meeting of the Board on July 8.
Poker players in the state should be able to play online with the use of specialized Partypoker PA software. It has already reached the testing stage so everything remains on track.

The PGCB and ROAR have been working closely to launch the BetMGM apps as well. ROAR Digital is the operating company behind BetMGM.
As the Chief Enforcement counsel of the Board, Cyrus Pitre mentioned that BetMGM expects approval of its igaming operator license ahead of the next meeting on Aug. 5. BetMGM is a US online sports and gaming company owned jointly by GVC Holdings and MGM Resorts International.
Adding both Partypoker PA and BetMGM online casino gambling apps should add a much needed boost to the state’s online gaming revenue. Overall tax revenue from legal online gambling took a major hit this year with the closure of land-based venues in mid-March due to the current circumstances.

Shareholders of ROAR Digital recently approved an additional investment of $250 million. This is in addition to an original investment of $200 million emphasizing the company’s commitment to becoming the market leader in the US online casino and legal sports betting industry.

Both the BetMGM and Partypoker Network in New Jersey are operated by ROAR. Those poker rooms are hosted by Borgata Poker and BetMGM brands so NJ residents can use the Borgata bonus code.

All parties also recognize the tremendous potential of the entire US sports betting and casino gambling market. Working with both GVC and MGM Resorts, BetMGM already has a strong foothold to expand from and offers sn excellent BetMGM bonus code.

Online poker in the Keystone State is also highly established. Pennsylvania online casinos continue to battle it out with its neighbor New Jersey for bragging rights as the top state in the country offering real money poker play online.

PokerStars was first introduced in Pennsylvania in November of 2019. This was the initial online poker room in the state. Since that launch, online poker play has grown to a point where each state has claimed to top spot for total monthly revenue.

The addition of the Partypoker Network in the coming months will only strengthen PA’s position in this race.

The state is also anticipating the launch of WSOP.com later this year. It also just received an online poker application from GGPoker which is owned by the NSUD Group. Once these rooms are up and running, Pennsylvania would be eligible to join the Multi-State Internet Gaming Agreement to share player liquidity with other states such as New Jersey and Nevada.
