Through 23 games, the Chicago Bulls have put up a record of 15-8 and are in second place in the Eastern Conference. Things haven’t gone well for the franchise in the last few seasons, but they are off to a remarkable run.
Chicago also has a number of wins against some of the best teams in the league. And it seems like this is just the beginning! It hasn’t been a perfect start, but Billy Donovan has to be thrilled with how well his team has performed.
Winning in the regular season is great, but the Bulls also have to find a way to pick up some postseason wins. There are still some questions marks, but the Bulls also have some serious start power.Jump to
Dynamic Duo Leading the Charge
Chicago has made a number of big roster moves over the last 12 months, and the team now has a pair of superstars leading the way. Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan have both taken turns being the top scorer, but together they have formed an unstoppable duo.
DeRozan leads the team with 26.3 points per game, and he is actually one of the best scorers in the NBA this season. LaVine has chipped in with more than 25 points per game, and teams haven’t found a way to slow down the stars.
Chicago also has enough depth to compete with the top teams in the league, but it has been the leadership and scoring of the two stars that is leading the charge.
Trade Deadline Will Be Huge
Even though the Bulls already look like a team that can make a deep run in the NBA Playoffs, more talent is a must. The Bulls will be in a great position at the NBA Trade Deadline to make some moves to improve the club.
Chicago clearly has two players good enough to lead them to a division title, but it usually takes at least three stars to win a championship. There are always big moves made in the NBA, and the Bulls will go all-in if they continue this great play.
A Look at the Odds
The future betting odds for the Bulls have changed significantly since the regular season began, but Chicago still has some work to do. The Bulls are currently at +3000 to win the NBA Finals, and there are more than ten teams in front of them.
Winning the East for the Bulls is currently at +1400, which is actually behind four other teams. The Bulls have easily been one of the biggest surprises this season, but the great start hasn’t been enough to make them betting favorites in the East.
These odds will continue to change throughout the year, and the best time to bet on Chicago would be right now. The Bulls are good enough to advance to the Eastern Conference Finals this season, and they won’t be an easy team to deal with.
Don’t be surprised to see the Chicago Bulls in the NBA Finals in June. They certainly have the talent to make it happen!
