Political Betting Analysts Show Close Race in Atlanta Mayoral Election

–Odds Suggest Kasim Reed’s Odds Are Worsening, Felicia Moore’s are Improving–

Kasim Reed’s odds to win the 2021 Atlanta Mayoral Election have weakened since last week, according to betting aggregators US-Bookies.com (See Disclaimer Below). Reed’s odds have shifted from 4/7 (63.6% implied probability) to 5/6 (54.5%). Felicia Moore improved from 18/5 (21.7%) to 9/4 (30.8%).

“Kasim Reed is still the odds-on favorite, but his odds have weakened in the past few days while Felicia Moore’s have gotten stronger,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “While the odds are showing Reed with a stronger lead than what the polls are showing, it’s becoming a closer race, suggesting a run-off could be on the horizon.”

Following Moore, Andre Dickens is 25/1 to win the mayoral election (3.8% implied probability). He’s followed by Sharon Gay and Kirsten Dunn, who are both tied at 33/1 (2.9%).

“There’s a significant gap between Felicia Moore and the rest of the field’s odds to win the election,” says a US-Bookies spokesperson. “This suggests that the bookies predict the election to come down to Reed and More, and it’ll be a close race in its final weeks.”
