NFL Week 3 Betting Picks

There have already been a number of big upsets in the 2022 NFL season, and it feels like there is plenty of parity in the league. There are still a handful of really good teams, but there are also plenty of teams that just appear to be average.

Every team in the NFL will try to take another step forward in Week 3, and there are still some good matchups scheduled. There are also some good betting options to look at for Week 3 as some teams appear to have a favorable matchup.

Houston Texans at Chicago Bears (-2.5)

The 0-1-1 Houston Texans visit the 1-1 Chicago Bears as Lovie Smith returns home to Chicago. Both teams are expected to be at the bottom of the league in 2022 despite getting off to a decent start to the season.

The Houston Texans were able to tie the Indianapolis Colts in Week 1 and then nearly upset the Denver Broncos in Week 2. Houston has really struggled to run the football, but they are picking up yards through the air.

Chicago continues to win games with their defense, but the offense is averaging just 235 yards per game. Quarterback Justin Fields is hardly getting to throw the football, and the Bears need to take the leash off.

This game should be close, but a late field goal by the Bears will allow them to win and cover the spread.

Buffalo Bills -6.0 at Miami Dolphins

The Buffalo Bills have looked absolutely unstoppable through the first two weeks of the season. Buffalo will be in Miami in Week 3, and they are facing a Dolphins team that also looks like a Super Bowl contender at 2-0.

Josh Allen has thrown for 614 yards and seven touchdowns this season, and the Bills rarely have to punt the football. Buffalo has also been dominant on defense as they are allowing just 8.5 points per game.

Miami is scoring 31 points per game, and they are good enough on offense to keep up with the Bills. The problem is that the Dolphins are also allowing 31 points per game and that defense is going to get torched in this one.

The Bills are clearly the best team in the NFL, and they will blow this game wide open and cover the six-point spread.

Cincinnati Bengals (-6.0) at New York Jets

The Cincinnati Bengals are looking for their first win of the season when they travel to New York to take on the Jets. Cincinnati is averaging 18.5 points per game, and they have been struggling with turnovers to begin this season.

New York stunned Cleveland in Week 2, but it’s hard to see them pulling off a second straight upset and beating the Bengals. The Jets just aren’t good enough on the defensive end of the field to keep this game close.

Take the Bengals -6.0 as they beat the Jets by double-digits in Week 3.
