Three Teams to Ten Wins?

The reason that the AFC West Division could be the best in the NFL in 2022 is that there are some loaded teams. Three teams have a legitimate shot to win the division title this season, led by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Kansas City is third on the list in terms of betting favorites to win the AFC West Division, and they have a projected win total line at 10.5 wins. The Chiefs will likely need to win at least 11 games to win the AFC West yet again, but it could be a struggle to get there.

The Denver Broncos and the Los Angeles Chargers both have a win total line set at 9.5, and 10 wins will likely get them into the postseason. It is possible that all three of these teams will win at least ten games, but they can’t have very many losses outside of divisional play.

Denver enters this season with a ton of optimism after acquiring quarterback Russell Wilson in the offseason. The Broncos continue to have a solid defense, and they also have a great home-field advantage.

Los Angeles is a popular pick to win the Super Bowl this season as they have an offense that will be explosive. The Chargers need to find a way to finish games off, but Los Angeles has enough talent to get it done.

No Bad Teams in AFC West

According to the projected win totals during the 2022 season, it appears as if the Las Vegas Raiders are expected to finish in last place. Las Vegas was a playoff team a season ago, and they then went out and got wide receiver Davante Adams in the offseason.

The Raiders will need to go over the 8.5 wins if they are going to get back into the postseason, and the divisional games are going to be extremely important. Las Vegas could even still win nine games and end up missing out on a Wild Card berth in the AFC.
