Casinos, either state or tribal, are not owned in the state of Tennessee. However, after the signing of the HB1 bill, TN online sports betting is now available – and only available – via online platforms and sports betting apps.

The bill was enacted on July 1st, 2019, but there have been heavy delays getting mobile sports betting off the ground.

Online Casinos are currently not available in Tennessee.

Current Status of Online Gambling in TN

The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation and its board are in charge of creating the rules and regulations needed to allowing gambling in TN. The law also mandates the creation of a 9 member lottery corporation sports wagering advisory council.
